Hello there! I'm Tash, a friendly 44-year-old with a lifelong love of dogs and all things furry. I’m thrilled to share that I've started my very own dog walking business back in January 2024!  I’ve gained a wealth of experience handling dogs, having spent some wonderful time working at a local kennels, and now I'm buzzing with excitement as I enter my third year with Time On Our Hounds. At home, I’m the proud pet parent of two delightful dogs: Dexter, my charming Lakeland Cross Terrier (you can check him out on Instagram @DexterTheMagnificentDog), and Holly, my lovely Red Fox Labrador. I’ve been surrounded by a wonderful mix of dog breeds throughout my life, from gentle giants like English Mastiffs to the adorable Shih Tzus. I even used to attend dog shows where my parents enjoyed a successful run, so you could say dogs are a big part of my heart! But that's not all! I have a soft spot for guinea pigs, too. I’ve had a variety of breeds, from Peruvians to Dalmatian guinea pigs. My mum exhibits them and has won Best in Show several times—talk about talent in the family! Let’s not forget my thirteen-year-old rescue cat, Marmite, who has quite the personality. He’s absolutely obsessed with Dreamies, so if you’re ever looking for him, just head to the kitchen! Throughout my life, I've also had the pleasure of sharing my home with a fascinating array of creatures, including Degus, Chinchillas, French Lops, Belgian Hares, Tree Frogs, an Iguana, an African Grey Parrot, Love Birds, Canaries, Hamsters, Gerbils, various Cats, an Oriental Cat, a Mynah Bird, Piranha fish, and of course, Koi carp. Each of these pets has brought joy and laughter into my life, and I can’t wait to share that same joy with your furry friends!
